Our Story

St. Simons Seafood is a beloved seafood market located in the heart of Saint Simons Island, Georgia, just near the Shops of Demere. This woman-owned business has proudly served locals and visitors alike for 28 years, offering fresh, high-quality seafood with a warm and personal touch. The shop is known for its ready-to-eat shrimp cocktail, flavorful shrimp salad, and house-smoked salmon, all of which keep customers coming back time and time again.

The story of St. Simons Seafood began in Brunswick, Georgia, where the founder’s father owned a wholesale and retail seafood market. His wife worked alongside him for seven years, helping build and grow the business. After they moved to Saint Simons Island, she decided it was time to open her own seafood shop, bringing with her years of hands-on experience and a genuine passion for seafood and serving others. What started as a family effort rooted in hard work and dedication has grown into a well-loved staple of the community.
